Born out of Wellington's Frederick Street Sound and Light Exploration Society in 2009, the Spheres have developed a cult- like following in New Zealand. 

An album of faux world music-cum-psychedelic sounds, primal funk (Ata with wiggly synths) deliberately lo-fi percussion and a real sense of presence and immediacy in its production.
