Fin rovings are used to reinforce glass-on fins. Super clear for surfboard application.

We recommend the following strands each side of the fin;

7-11 strands for thruster fins

12 - 15 strands for keel fins

20 - 30 strands for large longboard fins

Generally the larger or longer the fin you are glassing on, the more strands you will want to lay either side of it. For optimal strength, rovings should be reinforced with fibreglass cloth on top, laminated on each side of the fin.
